About
Atelier Tobias Rabold has been established in 2024 to design good architecture.
The practice aspires to create buildings that contribute quietly to the lives of those who use them. Being shaped by passionate reflection and an understanding of the context of time and place, the practice tries to thoughtfully design buildings that live long and adequate lives. Thus the careful selection of materials and details as well as a balanced arrangement of form and proportion in all scales are the corner stones of our design process.

We are driven by the belief that not only our planetary boundaries, but especially the atmospheric value of existing matter inspire a shift towards reusing the existing. We welcome this shift as a nurturing influence on our design process and aim to create our own design language out of this paradigm.

We believe that meaningful buildings are the result of honest and passionate work and a close collaboration between architect, client and engineer that is driven by mutual respect, trust and patience.
